![]() The Young Liberal Movement of Western Australia is for anyone aged 16-30 who believes in free enterprise, individual liberty and the preservation of our long standing social institutions. There are plenty of youth organisations that claim to be involved in politics, but they have no influence. If you believe in freedom, want to really make a difference, have your voice heard, and meet a lot of great people while you're doing it, then the Young Liberals is the organisation for you. The Young Liberals have a proud history as part of the most successful political party in Australia's history. The Young Liberals have a strong focus on developing policy ideas, campaigning for local candidates, holding training forums and programs for our members and organising great social events. The WA Young Liberals have been at the forefront of new media, connecting with our members like never before. Our Twitter, facebook groups, YouTube channel and flickr account all ensure that our rural and regional members are engaged as much as possible. The Young Liberals also work closely with Liberal Students on university campuses, fighting the Socialists where the fight is hardest. Kevin Rudd is pursuing an anti-youth agenda, which you can help fight: introducing the 70% alco-pops tax increase, the internet filter, the $250 student tax, saying he wants to raise the drinking age to 21 and all while youth unemployment has gone up, along with soaring debt that we will have to pay back in the future. With everything that Kevin Rudd is doing, the question you have to ask is: can you afford not to be involved in politics? |
