Donna Faragher is the youngest Liberal woman ever elected to the Western Australian State Parliament and was the youngest female Minister appointed in WA political history when she was promoted the Minister for Environment and Youth in the first Cabinet of Premier Colin Barnett on 23 September 2008.  She remained Minister until November 2010, when she stood down to have her first child, a daughter Clare.  Mrs Faragher is presently Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier, Minister for State Development.
